Personal Stories Changing Communities
Client: Domestic Abuse Project

With non profits vying for limited funding in their communities, the Domestic Abuse Project in Minneapolis started utilizing the Raising More Money® model of fundraising. An important piece of this fundraising model is a 7-minute emotional video to play at roundtables and the annual ‘ask’ event. Through discussions with DAP’s Director of Advancement and drawing on my own childhood, this creative video concept came to life. Consulting with the DAP staff and their Raising More Money® coach, the video stayed true to their fundraising model while engaging audiences again and again. The video became the “emotional centerpiece that formed the foundation of DAP’s message to prospective donors.”
